Long Farms, are honoured to support St Elizabeth Hospice’s ‘Hop to it! Suffolk 2025’ – a cause that holds a deeply personal place in our hearts.
St Elizabeth Hospice provided extraordinary care for Gina’s mother, Margaret Horsman, in her final days. Over eight days, an incredible team of 46 ‘angels’ surrounded her with kindness, compassion, and what we can only describe as ‘Love Soup’ – a perfect blend of warmth, dignity, and unconditional love. Until we experienced it firsthand, we had no idea of the depth of care the hospice provides. Now, we know it is truly remarkable.
Sponsoring one of the magnificent hares in Margaret’s memory is our way of expressing immense gratitude to the hospice teams who go above and beyond for so many families. As a fourth-generation family farm, we have always believed in giving back to our community, and supporting this great FUNdraiser felt like the perfect way to do so.
‘Hop to it! Suffolk 2025’ will bring joy, creativity, and togetherness to our county, while raising the vital funds needed to ensure this incredible hospice can continue its work. We are in awe of all the talented artists bringing this trail to life, especially Gina and Louise Richardson, who have poured their hearts into creating our beyond-beautiful Margaret's Strawberry Hare.
This is more than sponsorship; it’s a tribute, a celebration, and the biggest thank you to a hospice that gives so much.
